After a successful early career as a commissioning editor in publishing, managing interior design lists, Sara graduated from the KLC School of Design interior design diploma course with honours, winning the BIDA (British Interior Design Association) prize for creativity. She is an associate of the BIDA, and affiliate member of RIBA (Royal Institute of British Architects) and regularly returns to KLC as a tutor on the diploma course.

Her Devon-based interior design consultancy is constantly busy, both in the South West and further afield, with projects ranging from a single room refurbishment to full design and installation for a large new house and specification for multiple luxury apartments and, in the commercial sector, from a small hairdressing salon to a 300-cover restaurant and developer show houses.

Although her personal preference is for a clean, contemporary look, her broad experience working with many different styles for a very varied client base means that she is equally at ease with both classic and contemporary schemes, and often combines the two to achieve fresh and inspirational designs.
